I maxed out my 2016 Roth contributions just before the deadline. Below are the contributions and the dates for my 2016 Roth.
2016 Roth Contributions
8/15/16- $550
9/16/16- $1,281
10/18/16- $1,389
11/15/16- $280
1/18/17 - $1,000
4/4/17- $600
4/12/17- $400
I know I'm a nerd, I love tracking my progress and making charts and lists!! Anyways 2016 Roth is done and now I am on my way to maxing out my 2017 Roth. After that I will focus on building my emergency to $17,500 (right now I am at 15,500).

Awesome you were able to max out your Roth IRA for the year. I'm still working on that one! I keep saying I'm going to but life has gotten in the way. :O
ReplyDeleteThere is absolutely nothing wrong with nerding out with the numbers. I do it all the time and it helps me stay motivated. We're about the same age and I think you're doing a great job. I gotta catch up! ;)
